About the owner

Kyle Thueson’s love for music began in childhood, experimenting with online music-making platforms and apps. His passion deepened when his grandfather gave him summer guitar lessons, sparking a lifelong dedication to the instrument. From there, Kyle taught himself different styles of guitar playing, eventually earning a spot in his high school’s jazz band. It was there that he began the demanding journey of mastering jazz guitar — a challenge that improved his skills and set him apart with an advanced understanding of music.

As the program expanded Kyle stepped into a leadership role as a music coach. In this position, he mentored younger musicians, helping them develop their craft while continuing to grow as a performer himself. His proficiency on guitar led to opportunities playing with small groups and combos around downtown Boise, furthering his presence in the local music scene.

After graduating high school with high honors, Kyle chose to pursue the Audio Engineering & Music Production program through Recording Radio Film Connection & CASA Schools. He completed the program with perfect scores, becoming proficient in Pro Tools and Logic Pro while logging hundreds of studio hours alongside professional audio engineers. This hands-on experience led to several freelance audio projects in the Boise area and laid the foundation for the next chapter of his career.

Kyle founded Isotone Studio with a vision to give back to the musical community that had helped him thrive. Combining his musicianship and audio expertise he continues to build Isotone as a creative hub where aspiring artists and seasoned professionals bring their musical ideas to life.
